    Here are a set of rules for the forums. All members should read these before they begin posting:

    Hello all, and welcome to Crime Coast forums!

    Please note: We update these rules when needed, and though you may not have agreed to the updated rules when signing up to the forums, you are agreeing to to all updated or added rules.

    We encourage open and friendly discussion of Crime Coast and it's community. Moderators and Staff have final decisions on all matters, and are here to make sure that our community remains a friendly, fun place appropriate for players of all backgrounds, ages and groups. We reserve the right to modify or amend these rules at any time, and enforce them as we see fit. It is the forum member's responsibility to stay up to date on forum rules. Users who violate forum rules will be issued with warnings, in some cases banned and offending content will be removed, without warning. The length of the ban will be based on the severity and/or frequency of the violation.

    1. We will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks, harassment, name & shame, or purposeless inflammatory posts. Moderator and Staff decisions are final in these matters. Any abuse towards our Staff, Moderators and/or admins in any form will not be tolerated.

    2. We will not tolerate inappropriate, sexual, vulgar, discriminatory or offensive language of any sort, this includes simulated, insinuated and abbreviated swearing. This is a family friendly forum. Moderators and admins have a final say in what is and isn't inappropriate.

    3. Multiple or repeated posting in order to increase your post count is not allowed. Also, please refrain from posting spam, like nonsense. Please do not post purposeless posts or threads and do not reply with "Ok" or "Thank you" - use the posts rating instead.

    4. Multiple or repeated posting of the same thread or topic is not allowed, as is repeated "bumping" of a thread. If a thread or reply has been deleted, or closed, you should not post the same thread again.

    5. Do not attempt to claim to represent or speak on behalf of Crime Coast if you are not a Moderator or Crime Coast employee. Do not deliberately and/or maliciously spread false information about Crime Coast, moderators or employees.

    6. Users are permitted only one forum account. Creating multiple accounts will result in a permanent ban of all accounts.

    7.You may not use animated GIFs as your avatar or in your signature.

    8. We do not remove posts or accounts on request.

    9. Only report posts that you are sure violate forum rules or contain questionable content. Do not spam or overuse the report tool (what constitutes spam/overuse is up to interpretation of Moderators) as this distracts from the productivity of our Moderators and can result in a ban.

    10. We do not monitor private messages, but we do investigate all allegations of PM abuse. Forum rules apply to private messages as well.

    11. Always read stickies before posting. Always post in the proper sub forums. Not doing so can result in your post being deleted, moved or closed.

    12. If you are banned from the game temporarily, you still have a right to have a forum account. If you are permanently banned from the game, you may be permanently banned from the forums.

    13. Staff members and moderators may ban or issue a warning to forum members, without prior notice, if they detect inappropriate behavior. (Insulting other people or their views, Intentionally derailing a thread with off-topic or negative comments and just generally being unpleasant towards staff and forum users)

    14. You are responsible for abiding by Moderator and Staff warnings against you, within a thread or made via PM. Ignoring warnings given to yourself or other forum members can result in further warnings or a ban of your forum account. Remember, all mod and staff decisions are final.

    15. You may not discuss publicly any (disciplinary) actions taken by staff, moderators or support such as banning, closing forum threads, deleting forum posts / threads etc. This also includes posting publicly any private messages / emails you have received from either staff, moderators or support.

    16. In this forum do not discuss other games and companies, positively or negatively, either directly or indirectly.

    17. Players should not share steps or instructions to exploit the game, including hacks or bugs.

    18. Drug commerce or use is a serious violation of the law in many countries around the globe and will not be tolerated here on Crime Coast Forums. On the same line: the promotion or apology of any criminal activity will not be accepted. That's a severe infraction and will be warned with the same severity.

    19. Cheating and hacking activities on forums, forums tournaments, forums competitions and/or ingame competitions must be reported on the right forum: https://www.crimecoastforums.com/forums/report-a-player.156/ and a screenshot proving the illegal activity must be posted on the report. Public accusations of hacking/cheating - nominated or not and with proofs or not - will no longer be accepted and are subject of being deleted or being issued a warning from the Crime Coast Forums Staff Team.

    20. Since translators arent making a good translation from hindi to english with the expected precision, posts in hindi must contain the corresponding translation to english posted by the author.
    Otherwise, the post will be deleted.

    I hope you enjoy the forums, and we look forward to hearing some of your cool ideas and suggestions.

    Update:

    We have decided to remove the English only rule.

    The core language of the forums is still English, so all posts in a language other than English will have an English translation added under the original post by one of our community Moderators.

    Update

    Since translators arent making a good translation from hindi to english with the expected precision, posts in hindi must contain the corresponding translation to english posted by the author.
    Otherwise, the post will be deleted.

    This procedure will be applied until translators give a proper translation from hindi to english.
